Renault confident problems are solved

– Engine supplier Renault is confident that the problems its supplied teams suffered during the first pre-season test at Jerez have been solved, but admits it remains behind rivals Mercedes and Ferrari. The French brand experienced a torrid opening test at the Spanish venue, with reigning World Champions Red Bull completing just 21 laps over four days, while Toro Rosso and Caterham also encountered major issues.
