Sochi F1 track 91% complete

Getty Images Enlarge Russia's new Formula One track, based around the home of this year's Winter Olympics in Sochi, is 91% complete, according to the race promoter. The inaugural Russian Grand Prix will take place on October 12 on a circuit that loops around the Sochi Olympic Park. The main grandstand and pit buildings are in place and race promoter Oleg Zabara says development on the site is going to plan. "Construction of the autodrome in Sochi keeps moving forward," he told Reuters. "All works are being carried out according to the schedule. The racing track is 91% complete. Everything is according to plan, and there aren't any problems during Olympic period."...
