Lotus E22 in action

Lotus have released a distant photo of their new car - and new driver - in action during a day of filming at the Jerez circuit. After all their rivals had left the Jerez circuit following a mixed opening test, Lotus headed to Spain for a filming day. With Pastor Maldonado behind the wheel of the new E22, the team completed 100kms "without reliability problems." It was a solid start for Lotus given that issues many of other Renault runners experienced at the first test. Lotus will officially launch the E22, which features a double tusk nose tip, ahead of the second pre-season test in Bahrain.
