Hill backs double points for Abu Dhabi season finale 11 February, 2014 Damon Hill Damon Hill is one of the few Formula 1 figures who is in favour of the controversial double points rule to be implemented this year at the season finale Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Hill told Sky Sports, 'Personally, I don't see what the story is about. Winning the World Championship is the goal and if it gets more and more intense towards the end, and there is more at stake at the end of the championship, then that should be more exciting.'
