Frijns has eyes fixed on race seat

obin Frijns is optimistic that he will be able to secure a Formula 1 race seat by the 2015 season. The Dutchman, 22, is currently serving as one of Caterham's reserve drivers alongside Alexander Rossi, with ex-Toyota and Sauber driver Kamui Kobayashi and Marcus Ericsson occupying the full-time drives. Although disappointed not to be racing this year, he hopes an opportunity will arise in the near future. "Of course, our goal for this year was to get a race seat," Frijns told GPUpdate.net.
