Lotus 'ran without major problems'

Lotus says it completed the shakedown of its new car - the E22 - "without any major problems" with the Renault power unit in Jerez.The team was present for a filming day in Spain on Friday but was unable to complete any meaningful running as it got to grips with its new car. However, the team continued running on Saturday and managed to reach its limit of 100km on demonstration tyres.Pastor Maldonado was at the wheel of the car on both days and Lotus was happy with the car's initial shakedown ahead of next week's Bahrain test."We finished our running before 4pm on Saturday (due to the mileage restrictions imposed on a Promotional Event)," a team spokesman told...
