Honda expects UK base to be ready by June

McLaren Group Honda is expecting their UK base to be up and running by June this year. The Japanese manufacturer is returning to the sport as a power unit supplier to McLaren, rekindling the partnership which reaped success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Honda revealed that last month they moved their motor sports development base within Japan to further strengthen its development organization for F1 and other races. Honda also announced that the installation of the dynamo and assembly facilities at their UK base in Milton Keynes will be completed in June 2014 'to further reinforce the already solid setup in preparation for racing.'
