Sauber plan 'extensive' upgrades for Bahrain test

Sauber are hoping to focus on adding performance to the C33 in Bahrain, after a successful opening pre-season test in Jerez. The Swiss team focused on reliability and systems checks to begin due to the complexity of the new V6 power units, and team principal Monisha Kaltenborn was pleased with their progress. "We wanted to see if the mechanics and all the systems are working," she said. "The cars are very complex this year because of the new power unit, but, as a matter of fact, we have reached a good level already. "Of course, it was also important to gather a lot of data.
