Ross Brawn announces retirement from Formula One

Ross Brawn has announced today that he will be retiring from Formula One, ending heavy speculation regarding his future in the sport. Brawn, team principal of the Merecedes Formula One team for the past four years, was speaking at a fishing event in Aberdeenshire when he made the shocking announcement that he would be retiring from the sport. The 59 year-old has been the center of much speculation this past year, after Mclaren's Paddy Lowe was brought over to Mercedes, supposedly as Brawn's successor.
