Kvyat concedes Jerez test not ideal
As one of the rookies on the grid in need of track time, Daniil Kvyat admits the first test in Jerez was not the start he wanted.
Kvyat has limited F1 experience having only taken part in two Friday outings ahead of this week's first pre-season test in Spain.
The Toro Rosso driver was in action on Friday, the fourth and final day, but managed just eight laps in the morning due to a system problem.
Once that was fixed he went out for a run in the afternoon but was only able to add one more lap to his tally.
The 19-year-old, though, insists he has every confidence in his team and their engine supplier Renault to get it right before the next test in Bahrain.
