Hamilton 'feeling positive' after day three at Jerez
Lewis Hamilton says he is feeling happy and positive after completing 62 laps at the wheel of the Mercedes W05 on day three of winter testing.
It was his second day in the car, but his running on Tuesday was cut short after a front wing failure caused him to crash mid-way through the day. Fortunately it was a more trouble-free session for the Brit on day three, setting the fourth fastest time and gaining more vital experience in the new car.
'At the moment we're definitely happy,' he admitted. 'We've shown the strength within this team through all the hard work that's gone into getting the car here, bouncing back from the issue on Tuesday and then going out there and following up 97 laps...
