Magnussen sets pace on day three at Jerez

McLaren Mercedes Kevin Magnussen set the fastest time for McLaren on the third day of action at Jerez. The Dane's time of 1:23.276, set late in the day, was enough to pip Williams's Felipe Massa. Magnussen only ran during the afternoon but completed 51 laps, to add to the 40 managed by team-mate Jenson Button during the morning session. The 2009 world champion ended the day with the fourth fastest time. Lewis Hamilton ended up with the third fastest time, having completed 62 laps in the Mercedes W05 without any major problems. Fernando Alonso stepped into the Ferrari F14 T for the first time, although his running was briefly halted when his car ground to a halt during the morning session....
