Delayed launch for Caterham

Hours later than expected, Caterham's CT05 made its debut in Jerez with rookie driver Marcus Ericsson at the wheel. Caterham had planned to launch their 2014 challenge at 8:45am in the Jerez pit lane but some "last minute issues" meant it wasn't until late in the afternoon that the car was unveiled. Almost immediately new signing Ericsson ventured out to put the first lap on the new car. Like many of its rivals, the CT05 features a finger pointing nose. But, like any of its rivals, the nose doesn't blend into the tip but is rather boxed off with the tip jutting out.
