Lotus dismiss legality issues

Lotus technical director Nick Chester insists the team's twin-tusk approach to the tip of the nose is legal... Following the launch of the Toro Rosso in Jerez last night, the midfield team revealed that they had considered the twin-tusk design but ruled it out as they felt it was not within the spirit of the regulations. "The Lotus nose needs clarification, but it's a very clever idea," said STR tech director James Key. "The question really is, is it within the spirit (of the regulations)? We'll see.
