McLaren confirm driver schedule for Jerez test
McLaren confirm driver schedule for Jerez test 27 January, 2014 Jenson Button After much speculation whether they would be present at Jerez, McLaren have finally confirmed that they will be in action in Spain when the testing kicks off on Tuesday morning in Spain.
Despite the turmoil of the past few weeks at Woking, which started when the team's new MP4-29 failed the mandatory FIA crash tests and events which saw team supremo Ron Dennis ‘overthrow' Martin Whitmarsh in an internal coup, Jenson Button will be in the cockpit for the first two days, with rookie Kevin Magnussen in the driving seat on the final two days.
