F1 2014 – Martin Whitmarsh to Lotus?

Lotus have revealed they are interested in Martin Whitmarsh, who is expected to get the boot from the McLaren team.The daily mail newspaper reports that a Lotus insider confirms Lotus have made contact with Martin Whitmarsh. 'There has been contact with Martin. He is not necessarily the only name they have approached. There are perhaps three but he might be the most appealing of them, given his experience at McLaren.'Eric Boullier, who confirmed his departure from Lotus last week, could be heading to McLaren to replace Whitmarsh, although no official confirmation has been made.
