McLaren passes crash tests
McLaren confirmed on Tuesday that their new MP4-29 chassis has passed all of its mandatory crash tests, clearing the way for its debut in pre-season testing at Jerez.Reports over the weekend suggested that the team were struggling to make the first test, which starts next week, because the car had not passed all of its mandatory tests.
However, the team have now tweeted confirmation that the FIA tests, which must be ticked off before an F1 car takes to the track, have been satisfied.
