New race engineer for Vergne

Jean-Eric Vergne will start this season with a new race engineer after Phil Charles was promoted to chief engineer at Toro Rosso. Vergne, who has spent the last week working on a pre-season fitness training programme in the French Alps, has worked with Charles since joining Toro Rosso. However, this season the Frenchman will be under the guidance of Francisco Javier Pujolar, who previously worked with HRT. "This week is the first time I have worked with my new trainer, Juuso," Vergne said.
