Sauber reserve Sirotkin to do Formula Renault in 2014 6 January, 2014 Sergey Sirotkin Newly appointed Sauber Formula 1 test driver Sergey Sirotkin is the second driver to be announced in Fortec Motorsports Formula Renault 3.5 2014 squad. The 18-year-old arrives with a wealth of experience after having raced in FR3.5 in 2013.
Russian Sirotkin has had an impressive career so far winning the Formula Abarth European Series in 2011, followed by taking third in the Auto GP World Series in 2012. The Moscow native made the switch to the Formula Renault 3.5 Series in 2013 and made his mark in the series taking two podium finishes.
