New Jersey venue could change
Sutton Images Enlarge Bernie Ecclestone has revealed that the venue for the proposed Grand Prix of America in New Jersey could change. The original plan was for the race to be held on a 3.2-mile street circuit on the banks of the Hudson River with the backdrop of the Manhattan skyline. However, the race has twice been delayed having been planned to make its debut on the calendar in 2013, and Ecclestone has been running out of patience with the race promoter Leo Hindery Jr. Ecclestone has now revealed to Christian Sylt that the idea of a permanent circuit was originally investigated and could be revisited if new promoters come in to try and deliver the race.
