Hamilton: Brawn exit not a mssive loss
Lewis Hamilton has downplayed Ross Brawn's departure from F1, saying the sport will continue long after "any of us go away."
The Englishman walked away from Formula One at the end of last year having stepped down as Mercedes' team boss.
That brought an end to an illustrious career that included eight Drivers' Championship titles; seven with Michael Schumacher and one with Jenson Button.
As such there are some concerns about how Mercedes will deal with Brawn's departure.
Hamilton, though, is confident his team will survive.
"When I decided to go to Mercedes I had much greater reasons than him [Brawn]," the Brit told TotalRace. "He, to me, was a bonus....
