Cregan leaves Yas Marina for new role with Russian GP 30 December, 2013 Richard Cregan with Bernie Ecclestone Yas Marina Circuit chief executive Richard Cregan has departed the venue of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and heading for a new role with the Russian Grand Prix at Sochi.
The Irishman, former team principal with the Toyota F1 team, is said to have signed a three year deal with the Russian Grand Prix organisers, who are preparing to hold the country's inaugural F1 race on 12 October 2014.
