Statement from Schumacher family

Michael Schumacher's family has issued a short statement thanking people for all their messages of support after the seven-time F1 world champion was seriously injured in a skiing accident on Sunday.A statement issued by Schumacher's spokeswomen, Sabine Kehm, today [Monday], also thanks the medical team in Grenoble, who are caring for the 44-year-old as he fights for his life.The statement reads:“We would like to thank the medical team who we know do everything possible to help Michael.“We like to also thank the people from all around the world who have expressed their sympathy and sent their best wishes for Michael's recovery.“We would like to ask the media to respect the privacy of...
