Vergne: Raikkonen and Alonso combination a ticking time bomb
– Scuderia Toro Rosso driver Jean-Eric Vergne believes the Ferrari team has a very competitive line-up next season, but the Frenchman expects the duo will be a ticking time bomb as they will both want to fight for their championship chances. “I am convinced Fernando (Alonso) will be one of the championship candidates, but I'm very interested to see how it will work with Kimi (Raikkonen) as a team mate at Ferrari. Both Kimi and Fernando are very fast but the pair together could be a potential time bomb,” Vergne told Corrierre dello Sport. Even though Vergne expects Alonso to be one of the title candidates he believes it will be Red Bull once again to win the championship in 2014....
