Ecclestone calls for more double points races
Bernie Ecclestone has said he would like to see more double points races introduced into F1, although he admits that the regulation could be dropped for 2014.Earlier this month it was confirmed that double points would be handed out for next year's season finale in Abu Dhabi, although the move has attracted widespread criticism from fans and paddock figures alike.Commercial rights holder Ecclestone has now had his say on the matter by revealing that he would like to see the final three races run with double points to keep the championship battle alive, rather than it simply coming down to the season finale.However, the 83-year-old conceded that the controversial plans could be dropped as...
