Gutiérrez to stay with Sauber in 2014

– The Sauber Formula 1 team has confirmed that Esteban Gutiérrez will stay on for the 2014 Formula 1 season with the Swiss based team. Gutiérrez will be joined in the upcoming season by German Adrian Sutil at Sauber. It will be the Mexican's second year in the sport. Esteban Gutiérrez enjoyed his first test with Sauber at Jerez in late 2009. In 2013 the 22-year-old enjoyed his debut in Formula 1 with Sauber racing alongside Nico Hulkenberg. With a 16th position in the drivers' championsthip he ended the season as best rookie driver. “I am happy to be able to continue as a driver for the Sauber F1 Team," he said on Saturday.
