Sauber confirms Esteban Gutierrez for 2014
Sauber F1 Team has confirmed that Esteban Gutierrez will be retained for the 2014 Formula One season after the team signed a new deal with Mexican telecommunications giant Telmex.
Gutierrez endured a troublesome first season with the Swiss team, picking up just six points with a single score at the Japanese Grand Prix back in October. However, after showing signs of considerable improvement across the course of the season and signs of blistering pace, Gutierrez has done enough to secure himself a second season with the team alongside Adrian Sutil, who has been drafted in as Nico Hulkenberg's replacement.
