Mercedes gain Red Bull engineering expertise
Mercedes have announced two key engineering appointments for the 2014 season and both of them will join the team from rivals Red Bull.Mark Ellis will become Mercedes performance director in June of next year, while Giles Wood will take up the position of chief engineer, simulation and development, at the same time. Mercedes hope the two appointments, the first since Ross Brawn announced he is to step down as team principal, will further strengthen the team's technical organisation, particularly in the fields of simulation and vehicle dynamics. For tickets and travel to 2014 FORMULA 1 races, click here. For FORMULA 1 merchandise, click here.
