Kubica is named 2013 FIA Personality of the Year
Kubica is named 2013 FIA Personality of the Year 17 December, 2013 Robert Kubica a motorsport hero Ex-Formula 1 driver Robert Kubica has been named the FIA’s Personality of the Year at this evening’s FIA Prize-Giving Gala in Paris, France. He is the first winner of the new award which was selected by all permanently accredited media present at FIA World Championship events throughout 2013.
Overcoming a career-threatening injury he suffered in 2011, Kubica finished top of the FIA World Rally Championship-2 (WRC-2) at the first attempt this season. He won five events this year, securing the title with one round remaining.
