Alonso begins 2014 simulator work
Getty Images Enlarge Fernando Alonso has had his first taste of Ferrari's 2014 car in the team's simulator. Following the end of the season in Brazil, Alonso has been busy in Spain with the opening of the Fernando Alonso Collection in Madrid. However, he returned to Ferrari's headquarters on Friday to work through new procedures which drivers will be required to carry out as a result of the new regulations next year. "I'm pleased with the way the day on the simulator went," Alonso told the official Ferrari website. "We managed to get through everything on the programme that we had in the pipeline.
