Alonso gets first taste of 2014

Fernando Alonso will head into the Christmas break with an early idea of what he can expect from the new-look F1 in 2014.The Spaniard completed his final week of work at Maranello with a first look at the new procedures involved in managing the 2014 car, which will not only feature the new turbocharged V6 engine, but also revised aerodynamics and increased potency from regenerative technology.“I'm pleased with the way the day on the simulator went,” Alonso told the team's official website, “We managed to get through everything on the programme that we had in the pipeline.
