Perez backs new points rule

The FIA announced on Monday that the season finale in Abu Dhabi will see the points for both titles doubled, effective from 2014. While the initial reaction has been negative - Sebastian Vettel called the ruling "absurd" - Perez believes it adds a new dimension to the season and should not be immediately dismissed.
