Sauber's 2014 F1 chassis passes crash test

– Sauber has confirmed that its 2014 F1 chassis, the C33, was officially homologated this week after passing the FIA's stringent crash tests. A statement on Twitter from the Swiss-based outfit read: “The chassis of the C33 has passed all static and dynamic tests of the FIA and is officially homologated. “The rear crash test, which is not part of the chassis homologation, will take place separately at a later date, as usual.”
