Sauber C33 passes 2014 crash tests
Sauber have revealed that their 2014 challenger has passed a series of crash tests, meaning it is now homologated by the FIA ahead of the first winter test at the end of January.
The Swiss team, who have yet to announce their driver line-up for next year, raced to seventh place in the constructors' standings this season after a season of two halves. The season didn't get off to a very good start but the results soon arrived in the second part of 2013.
'The chassis of the C33 has passed all static and dynamic tests of the FIA and is officially homologated,' Sauber revealed on Twitter.
Most teams are expected to complete similar crash tests in the next few weeks, with Caterham's 2014 car...
