Record-breaking bid for Vettel helmet
– The race helmet Sebastian Vettel used during this year's German Grand Prix raised a record-breaking amount at a charity auction on Monday. Staged by Bonhams, the auction attracted bids from around the world, with the winner ultimately spending £72,100, all of which will go to Wings for Life. The previous record was set last year, when an Ayrton Senna helmet sold for £71,000. "This is one of my favourite helmet designs from this season and it goes without saying that this was one of the most special races for me – my first ever home win," said Vettel.
