Pirelli pre-Christmas Bahrain test gets green light

Pirelli will be able to conduct an F1 tyre test next week in Bahrain, it has been confirmed.As reported on Crash.net recently, the test will run for three-days from December 17-19. However, while it had been thought it would be restricted to a few teams, this is not the case, and all were invited to take part, with six accepting – namely Red Bull Racing, Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, Force India and Toro Rosso.The test gets the green light on safety grounds and is in part because teams were unable to run with the new 2014 prototype tyres in practice in Brazil last month, scene of the final round in the 2013 F1 World Championship, as rain meant both Friday sessions at Interlagos were a bit...
