Brawn 'not a fan' of mandatory pitstops

Departing Mercedes team principal Ross Brawn isn't a fan of the proposed idea to mandate the number of pitstops during a grand prix. The proposal will be debated at the next F1 Strategy Group meeting. If it is agreed, it will then go to the Formula 1 Commission and World Motor Sport Council for approval. If added to the 2014 regulations, each driver will have to make two pitstops during a race. They will not be allowed to complete more than 50 per cent of the race on the harder compound Pirelli tyre and 30 per cent on the softest compound.
