F1 calendar confirmed for 2014
– The World Motor Sport Council has confirmed the F1 2014 World Championship schedule following its meeting in Paris today and as expected the proposed races in New Jersey, Mexico and Korea have all been dropped. Other changes ses Russia and Japan swap weekends, while Abu Dhabi will now hold the season finale instead of Brazil. The race at the Yas Marina will take place on November 23, whereas originally Interlagos was to have held the last round on November 30. The Brazilian GP will now take place on November 9, and as a result the United States Grand Prix will be held one week earlier on November 1.
