New Jersey postponed to 2015 – Ecclestone

The Grand Prix of America has been postponed to 2015 ahead of the final confirmation of next year's calendar, according to Bernie Ecclestone. The race had originally been planned to go ahead this season as part of a double-header with the Canadian Grand Prix, but red tape and financial issues caused it to be pushed back to 2014. A provisional 22-race calendar for next season was leaked in September with the race in New Jersey present as part of a triple-header with Monaco and Canada. However, it was marked as 'subject to circuit approval' and the 83-year-old F1 boss has now confirmed that its debut will be delayed once more.
