Bahrain confirms 2014 race will be run at night

The organisers of the Bahrain Grand Prix have confirmed that the 2014 event will be run at night, making it only the second night race on the calendar alongside Singapore. The country is marking its tenth anniversary since its first Formula 1 race back in 2004 - though only nine races have been held there after the 2011 event was cancelled due to political unrest The organisers have installed lighting similar to that of Abu Dhabi which is run during dusk.
