Gutierrez confident of remaining in F1

Esteban Gutierrez is confident that he will remain in Formula 1 for the 2014 season. The Mexican driver believes he has proved he is worthy of a seat on the grid next year. It was a rather shaky start to his rookie year in F1 but the 22-year-old turned things around with some mature and impressive performances in the second half of the season. He finished the year as the top rookie with six points after a seventh place finish at the Japanese Grand Prix. Despite improving throughout the year, his future looks uncertain.
