Gutierrez and Chilton handed reprimands
Sauber F1 Team
Esteban Gutierrez and Max Chilton have been reprimanded after qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Both drivers were deemed to have crossed the white line when entering the pit lane, in breach of the regulations.
Gutierrez will start from 18th place, with Chilton rounding out the grid.
'I made a mistake in the last corner and was just not able to recover what I gained in sectors one and two. After that it started to rain quite a lot and it was hard to catch up. It’s disappointing,' said Gutierrez.
Marussia was also fined 5,000 for allowing Chilton and team-mate Jules Bianchi to be released ahead of queued cars at the start of Q1.
