Gutierrez disappointed with Q1 exit
Esteban Gutierrez says he is disappointed with his qualifying position for the Brazilian Grand Prix after exiting in the first session. The Mexican driver will start the race from 18th on the grid after a mistake on his first lap, when track conditions were at their best, dropped him down the order.
Due to his lowly grid position, he is expecting the 71-lap race to be a challenge. He was one of the first drivers out on track in the first 20 minute session but an error in the final sector ruined his opening lap time.
