Pirelli not overly frustrated by weather

– Pirelli was not overly frustrated by the consistent rain that thwarted plans to trial its 2014 development rubber during the opening day of practice for the Brazilian Grand Prix. With showers ensuring that the Wet and Intermediate compounds were required throughout the first two sessions, the 2014 tyres stayed firmly in their blankets, barring a short exploratory run from Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel. But the manufacturer's Motorsport Director, Paul Hembery, says there was only a limited amount to learn even if conditions were ideal. "It was a pity that the drivers didn’t get the chance to try the development tyres as this was an important opportunity," said Hembery....
