FP2: Rosberg remains top as Vettel closes in

Nico Rosberg remained top in the second practice session for the Brazilian Grand Prix on Friday as the rain hung around to limit running. It was a quiet start after a heavy downfall between FP1 and FP2 and it wasn't until the final half hour that things began to get busy after Fernando Alonso braved the conditions on intermediates and went quickest almost immediately. The top spot was held by several before Rosberg finally asserted his position with a lap two-tenths quicker than Sebastian Vettel could manage.
