Horner would be ideal - Ecclestone

Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone believes Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner would be his "ideal" successor. Ecclestone is currently involved in a legal battle amidst claims of corruption, and earlier this week the sport's owner CVC admitted that a guilty verdict would result in the 83-year-old Briton being relieved of his duties. Horner has previously played down suggestions that he could be the man to take over the reins of the sport, but Ecclestone on Thursday said that the Brit would be "ideal" for the job.
