di Resta: IndyCar 'a serious option'

Paul di Resta has admitted that he is considering moving to America to compete in IndyCar if he cannot find a seat in Formula One next season. The Force India driver has had an indifferent season, starting strongly before going on a string of point-less finishes following the British Grand Prix in June. Although the tyre changes made by Pirelli did affect Force India's form, the Scot has failed to set the world on fire and is subsequently at risk of losing his seat. This year's driver market has seen an unusually high number of drivers with recent F1 experience become available, and both Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg are thought to be vying for a seat with the team.
