Double points finish boosts Mercedes in championship

While the runners-up position is sometimes described as "first of the losers", there's no question just how much it means to everyone at Mercedes as they battle to clinch second place in the 2013 constructors championship ahead of Ferrari and Lotus. That's why getting both drivers into the top ten in the United States Grand Prix on Sunday at the Circuit of the Americas was so important to the team.
