Bottas elated after claiming first points

Williams F1 Team Valtteri Bottas declared himself ‘very happy' after claiming his first points in Formula 1. Bottas qualified in ninth place and made up a position at the start and briefly challenged Ferrari's Fernando Alonso for seventh, before slipping back. He retained eighth place until the chequered flag, scoring four points for Williams, who previously had taken just a single point all year courtesy of Bottas's team-mate Pastor Maldonado.
