Happy Hamilton determined to retain second

Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton expressed his happiness after finishing the United States Grand Prix and vowed to retain second place in the constructors' championship for Mercedes. Hamilton's fourth place means that Mercedes has a 15 point buffer over Ferrari with just a single race remaining in Brazil. 'That felt good out there this afternoon and I'm really happy with fourth place,' he said. 'It was so nice to have a race where I could fight for position and make progress.
